[SUGGESTION] Bi-Energy support for Smart Home Panel 2 Operating mode.
Hello,
I’d like to offer a suggestion to EcoFlow regarding the operating modes. Currently, the system offers three modes: Self-Powered, Scheduled Tasks, and TOU (Time of Use). However, here in Quebec, we have a specific energy pricing system called Dual-Energy (Rate DT).
Under this rate, electricity costs 4.963¢/kWh when the outdoor temperature is above -12°C, but jumps to 29.018¢/kWhwhen it drops below -12°C. As you can imagine, energy becomes significantly more expensive during cold weather.
It would be extremely useful to have an automatic mode that switches to solar or battery power when the temperature drops below -12°C, and resumes charging the batteries when the temperature rises again. Since the EcoFlow app already connects to weather data (as seen with the Storm Guard feature), this type of temperature-based logic seems very feasible to implement—and would add great value for users in regions with variable energy pricing.
Here's a link to the DT rate explained above :

Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
