One of my power stations is a Delta 2. While the Delta 2 Max has got 2 feeds for solar, Delta 2 has got only one. Regardless, it has worked tirelessly for several years as it has a decent 1024 WH and a high enough output power (1,800 W) that I have been able to use it at home for boiling water and rice cooking, instant pot cooking. It can even power my induction cooktop, but I would elect to use my Delta 2 Max, since it has double the capacity at 2048 WH. Since I purchased the Alternator Charger for my old car, I have dedicated my Delta 2 as a power source and thus it has been staying in my car all the time. Just about this time, the Delta 3 and Delta 3 plus were announced. I was going to add another power station and this time, I would choose the Delta 3 Plus for the newer x-Core 3.0 technology, which is the latest advancement for battery safety and performance, enabling rapid recharging. It has seamless UPS functionality. What is new to me is it has ability for weak light solar detection as well as Storm Warning and Outage Alerts. In addition, the Delta 3 plus ranks higher in my mind as it has dual solar ports, even though it too has similar capacity and output power as the Delta 2. Last but not the least, the quiet operation is the most obvious to me, this definitely rides above the Delta 2. I still have to try out all the new features including Bill savings by using the Time of Use modes. Just about that time, Ecoflow ran a Giveaway contest for "Power to Share". I submitted my story about my heating mats for stairs being able to be powered by Ecoflow power stations.. I was most excited when I found out that i was one of the 3 winners who would be awarded a Delta 3 plus . Thank you Ecoflow! It has been an excellent addition and it did a fantastic job replacing my older Delta 2 (and more), for solar input in my home. Since it has dual ports, I will be adding another solar feed in the near future.

Back in 2023 when Delta 2 Max was first launched, I ordered it immediately, as I enjoy the previous purchases and use of my River 2 Pro and Delta 2. Unfortunately, my new Delta 2 Max showed a red X on the display, it was at about where the battery icon (#7) is. According to the user manual, #7 indicated it is a battery failure warning, but I have only unboxed and used this unit for 2 cycles. It took me some time to map out, using the user manual, exactly where this red X icon was; it actually was located to the left of #7.Even though the unit still operated normally, I was unsure about this undocumented icon and reported to Ecoflow Customer Service. It was the first time I contacted Ecoflow and was requested to send them a video when the red X icon appeared again. As this was very repeatable, I had no problem capturing the scenario when it happened. Later, I was told by Customer Service that it was a factory use only icon, not shown in the manual. They wanted to take it back and would send me a replacement. The process was smooth, and I was sent a pre-paid label to return this unit and subsequently received a replacement. This further enhanced my confidence with Ecoflow, which clearly stands behind their technology.

My DELTA 2 Max came to the rescue for my friend's SUV during a camping trip. The car battery was running low and the vehicle wouldn't start. We connected the DELTA 2 Max to the NOCO Genius 5 and charged the car battery overnight at the campsite. The car battery was full the next morning! Thanks, EcoFlow, for saving the camping trip! 🤗🥰❤️

The DELTA 3 Plus is a beautiful addition to the EcoFlow DELTA Series. It has a new sleek, silver shell, with long, chrome bar bezels. While the overall dimensions are similar to the DELTA 2, the DELTA 3 Plus has a slightly larger length and width. The LCD screen on the DELTA 3 Plus is larger, easier to read and reminiscent of a digital race car speedometer. The slow speed USB-A ports have been removed, the USB-C ports have been upgraded to 140W of output over the previous 100W of output on the Delta 2, and the AC Outlets have been moved to the front of the unit, with an additional 3-prong outlet and one fewer 2-prong outlet. The 12V socket and DC 5521 ports remain on the rear aspect. The DELTA 3 Plus has a flap that can be pushed and tucked into the unit. The DELTA 3 Plus sports two XT60i PV ports, giving it an additional 500W of DC or solar input for a total of 1000W, and the flexibility to use solar panels of different specifications for each port, or the option to use one port for solar charging and one port for 12V car charging or DC charging. The fans have been relocated to the Front and Rear of the DELTA 3 Plus, from the lateral sides of the DELTA 2. The XT150 Extra Battery Port has been relocated to the rear of the DELTA 3 Plus, versus the right, lateral side of the Delta 2. The DELTA 3 Plus expands up to 5 kWh (5120 Wh) of battery capacity, compared to up to 3 kWh (3072 Wh) of battery capacity for the DELTA 2. The top aspect of the DELTA 3 Plus has a beautiful black, matte and glossy tessellation pattern that is absent from the matte finish on the DELTA 2.-The 1024 Wh DELTA 2 and DELTA 3 Plus are both great power stations that are a perfect balance between weight and powering capacity. Choosing between one or the other will satisfy most needs, whether it is for emergency back up power, camping, or living off grid. The DELTA 3 Plus has some desirable updates, and for people who are trying to decide between the two units, the DELTA 3 Plus is the clear winner.
