Solar Angle Really IS Important

As you know, I've been doing a lot of testing with solar panels in an effort to optimize solar output as best I can with the limited outdoor space I have. Based on a suggestion from Casey, I did another test along the back wall and the results definitely show the importance of good angle of solar panels.

First photo shows 250W (125W x 2) panels upright with a poor angle that is needed so that I can still walk along the path to my yard, and it's followed by a screenshot showing the output to a Delta 2.

Second photo shows the same 250W (125W x 2) laying on their side with a good angle and I can still walk along the path to my yard, followed by a screenshot showing the output to the same Delta 2.

Condition was bright full sun and the comparison was completed in less than 5 minutes.

The output of the 250W (125W x 2) upright with a poor angle was 180W.

The output of the 250W (125W x 2) laying on their side with a good angle was 227.

That's 47 watts more, and that is significant for me. THANK YOU CASEY! 😊

The only downside is that I can't add another panel because the connectors on these panels are too short. If anyone had found extension cables to get more space between these 125W panels, please let me know.
