It’s Okay to Start Small—Just Start

You do not have to buy the biggest power station all at once. Start small and build your backup power supply over time.

A simple progression looks like this:

1. Start with your essentials.Choose a smaller unit, such as a RIVER 2 Pro, for lights, phones, internet equipment, and other small devices.

2. Learn your needs.Track your power use during an outage and identify which devices you want to run longer.

3. Add capacity when you are ready.Move up to a larger unit, such as a DELTA 3 Plus or DELTA 2 Max, for appliances like a refrigerator, freezer, or microwave.

4. Expand over time.Add extra batteries, solar panels, or another power station as your budget and backup needs grow.

This step-by-step approach is how I built my own EcoFlow setup. I started with what I could afford, then added more as my budget and needs grew. That experience showed me that you do not have to build your entire system at once—even one smaller unit can make a big difference during an outage.

Once you get started, take time to learn how your equipment works and pay attention to what you need most during an outage. Then, build at your own pace. You do not have to do everything overnight.
