Capacity and Runtime

One thing I’ve noticed with portable power is that the numbers on the box only tell part of the story.

You can work out an estimated runtime from the battery capacity and the appliance wattage, but real world results can be a little different. Inverter losses, the appliance cycling on and off, temperature and even how the battery is being charged all come into it.

That all needs to be taken into account when planning your setup.
