Helping Parents Power Through Summer

This summer we've camped much more than usual, partially thanks to our Delta 2 and River 3 batteries.

Mountain weather is unpredictable at the best of times, which means we need a diesel heater some nights, and other nights we are powering one or two fans to keep our rooftop tent tolerable. We also purchased a 12v fridge and a solar panel for our rig, and between the two batteries, car charging, and solar, we easily keep all our gadgets, fridge and HVAC powered on mountain adventures. It's opened up more and more weekends for us because we dont have to wait around for perfect weather or worry about food spoiling. Plus, with the app I'm able to check the status of our batteries from the tent before falling asleep, not that we've ever come close to running out. I also recently did a multi-day mountain bike trip, and by keeping the Delta 2 topped up, I was able to keep my e-mountain bike charged for multiple days of riding without having to try to find a place in town to plug in. I could descend out of the mountains to ride, then go back to private, off-grid camp spots and recharge my bike and my mind.

I know not everyone's idea of roughing it includes having over 1000 watt hours of power along for the ride, but for me and my family, it gets us outside more, more safely and more comfortably.
