Keeping Cool With the Power of the Sun ☀️❄️
At the beginning of summer, my central air conditioner broke, so I quickly set up a window air conditioner as a temporary solution. I connected my EcoFlow to two 360W solar panels, giving me up to 720 watts of solar power when the sun was strong.
The first picture was taken earlier in the day when I turned the unit on. The second picture shows when I turned the unit off after keeping the back of my house cool.
Now that we’re at the end of summer, I can see how well this setup worked for me. During peak hours, I used stored solar power to run my air conditioner and stay off the grid when electricity demand and rates were highest. The solar panels helped keep my battery charged while the EcoFlow powered the air conditioner, allowing me to stay cool without pulling power from the grid.
EcoFlow and solar power aren’t only for emergencies—I can use them in everyday life. The sun is free, so I’m going to use it! ☀️🔋
