Disconnected Solar Panels.

If I mount 2 or more solar panels onto the roof of the Art Shack, does it matter if the solar panels are exposed to the sunlight and producing power, but not connected to a battery because that has been moved to a different location?

In this scenario, the solar panels would have a trip switch, an isolator at the battery end of its cable, so the exposed ends would be safe to touch and there would be no Ark or Short risk when plugging the battery back in later.
