Building my energy resilience setup with EcoFlow in Romania

Hi everyone,

I’m Ovidiu from Romania, and I recently started building my own energy resilience setup step by step.

My first EcoFlow product is a RIVER 3 Plus Wireless, which I bought for real backup use at home and for work. What started as a practical solution for keeping essential devices running has gradually turned into a bigger project for me.

I’m now exploring how to build a more complete hybrid setup around EcoFlow, including additional battery capacity, solar charging, longer backup autonomy and eventually a system that can cover more of my home energy needs.

What I like most so far is the flexibility. I do not want to depend on a single solution. My goal is to combine grid power, portable storage, solar and backup capacity in a way that gives me real options when something goes wrong.

I plan to document the whole process here as I expand the system, including what works well, what I would do differently and what I learn from real use.

I would also love to hear from people who started with a RIVER series unit and later expanded into a larger EcoFlow setup.
