Best way to prioritize essential loads during an outage?

I’m trying to think through the best way to prioritize loads when running the house from an EcoFlow system during an outage.

The obvious essentials for me are refrigerator/freezer, internet, some lights, maybe the furnace controls/blower depending on season, and charging phones/laptops. But once you start adding “nice to have” loads, it gets blurry fast.

For people who have actually used their EcoFlow setup in a real outage, what loads did you end up caring about most? Did you manually plug things in as needed, use a transfer switch/smart panel, or just keep a few circuits ready?

I’m trying to avoid overbuilding for rare scenarios, but I also don’t want to realize during an outage that I planned around the wrong things.
