I set out to provide a solar powered backup solution back in 2023 for my wife and I. I watched alot of Youtube videos on solar and product reviews along with my own product research. Knowing money was tight the fear of making a costly mistake always loomed over me. Nevertheless in 2024 I pull the trigger on a pair of DP3’s. I had a transfer switch installed. The Ecoflow Offical Cub & Ecoflow Delta Series Facebook page helped me by providing resources and advice on solar panel selection. In late 2024 my wife and I built our own solar stands. First stand set worked great, second set was giving us up to 2.1 kw hooked up to our DP3’s which were powering our entire house (except dryer, water heater, & oven) almost every other day Sun permitting. We found a great deal at Costco Next and pulled the trigger on 2 additional batteries. Which has allowed us to power our house for several days at a time and has reduced our electric bill, sun permitting of course. Our DP3’s have been running smooth, reliable and the fact they were plug and play and have the best app. No regrets, Ecoflow rocks! I am so glad I didn’t choose any other! I have accomplished my initial goal but If I had an upgrade to a DPU, I would be able to run everything in my home including my clothes dryer, water heater, & oven which would be a win for my wife and I. Nevertheless Ecoflow has been providing reliable home backup and peace of mind for going on 2 years this august!
