One thing I’ve really come to appreciate about EcoFlow is how portable power can actually become part of your everyday routine and not just something you think about during outages.
Our RIVER 3 Plus Wireless gets used constantly around the house. Sometimes that means working in our unfinished basement where outlets are scarce. Other times it’s a small pump from a pull-behind water trailer so we can water trees and plants remotely without needing extension cords everywhere. Very versatile!
The EB300 expansion battery has honestly been just as useful on its own as it is when paired with the RIVER. It’s super light, easy to grab, and perfect for keeping our laptops charged wherever we end up working. I also really like that you can charge the EB units directly from the front USB-C port which makes them feel like true standalone power banks when you need that flexibility.
Using these units so much actually sparked a bit of creativity for me. I’m a designer and maker, and over time I started building a few small accessories to make the RIVER and EB batteries even more practical for everyday use. Things like a snap-in storage insert for the wireless dock and a quick-detach carry handle for the expansion batteries came directly from real situations where I thought, “this could be just a little more convenient.”
It’s been fun turning everyday use into small improvements that make the system feel even more dialed in.
For me, #PowerDifferent is really about flexibility. Being able to work, build, and get things done wherever it makes sense instead of where outlets happen to be.
If anyone’s curious about the accessories I’ve been making around this setup, I put them here: https://presslermade.com/collections/ecoflow
Always interested to see how others are using their portable power setups too.
