🔥 #PowerDifferent Round 2: Why I Build Around a Plan, Not Just a Battery
Most people think backup power starts with buying the biggest unit they can afford.
I don’t see it that way.
For me, backup power starts with one question:
What absolutely has to stay ON when the power goes out?
For my home, that starts with food protection — fridge and freezer first. Then communication, lights, and the ability to keep the system going.
Because battery size matters…
but recharge is what keeps the system alive. 🔋
That’s why my setup is built around layers: *essentials first
*battery storage
*solar recharge
*backup recharge options
*load management
A full battery with no plan is just a countdown.
But a system with priorities, storage, and recharge gives you control.
That’s what #PowerDifferent means to me.
Not guessing.
Not panicking.
Not waiting until the lights go out to figure it out.
Just having a plan.
Question for everyone:
If the power went out tonight, what’s the FIRST thing you’d protect?
Food?
Medical?
Phone + internet?
Heat / cooling?
Comfort?
