Saving Eco Flow boxes

When I purchased my Eco Flow Delta 2 Max and an extra battery about two years ago, I remember reading on some forums that people may have had had problems returning units if they had issues if they did not have the original boxes so it could be shipped to EcoFlow.

I now have read here recently that Ecolfow will send a box if a unit needs to go in for service. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

I don't mind saving a few boxes but if I could throw a few away that would save some space.
