Update: River Max Plus Battery Maintenance Cycle - Success!

One of the signs my first-generation River Max Plus (RMP) was due for a battery maintenance cycle was the “forever 1%.” The battery percentage on screen quickly decreased, and remained at 1% for at least 6 hours. It was outputting 25-100W during that time as well.

This is an easy fix! I ran the RMP until it shut down, then recharged it uninterrupted until it reached 100% charge. Now it’s ready for the next adventure: storage for the next week and a half. 😂
