New 400W Panel Results Are In! ☀️🔋

I finally added my new 400W EcoFlow panel and connected it in parallel with my existing 400W panel to my Victron 100/30 MPPT. Today’s results:✅ 1.75 kWh harvested ✅ 594W peak solar input ✅ Panels running at 42.58V ✅ Battery bank reached 27.84V Not bad at all considering this is the first day with the new configuration. The extra panel definitely made a noticeable difference compared to the single-panel setup. The goal wasn’t just more watts — it was extending strong solar production throughout the day and putting more energy back into the battery bank. I’m looking forward to seeing what this setup does during a full clear summer day once everything is dialed in. ☀️Question for the group: What’s the highest daily harvest you’ve seen from a pair of 400W panels on a good summer day?🔋⚡

My power bill is gone!

A little over a year ago I was able to purchase my first house, and I decided to take the plunge and set up a delta pro ultra system and smart home panel 2. In my area, power outage aren’t incredibly frequent, but they do happen 3-4 times a year where the grid is usually down for multiple hours at a time. We get some gnarly wind storms where I am that like to take down power lines. As someone who has a lot of sensitive electronics, having a grid outage isn’t ideal. Luckily I don’t use a ton of power, but as a redundancy/load spreading measure I ended up going with three of the ultra systems so that way I could have my central AC on top of everything else running seamlessly. Ever since I bought my house, I wanted a wraparound porch behind the back so that I could have shade throughout the day, and after pricing out the cost of materials to put a roof on it, it ended up being cheaper to build a pergola and buy a bulk pallet of Solar Panels and use those as the roofing panels instead. I ended up putting a 14.5kW array of panels on top of the pergola that I built around the back of my house. I have 60 kWh worth of batteries on the ultra’s and they are fully charged by about 1PM, even on cloudy days they still manage to be fully charged by the time the sun starts to go down. We recently had the first power outage since installing the system, and it was pretty comical seeing my house was the only one lit up in the neighborhood. The system has been running self-sufficient off of solar for about the last 2 months since I finished the install, and only seems to be getting better as the heat climbs! After my first year of owning this house, my power bills were consistently north of $250 in the summer since I like my A/C cold. The system so far has dropped my power bill down to the minimum $15 access charge. Of course, EcoFlow released the ultra X system and smart home panel 3 right after I finished my install. Maybe there will be an upgrade in my future. 😂

What’s Been Your Best EcoFlow Buy So Far?

With the EcoFlow stuff, I feel like everyone ends up with one thing that they use way more than they expected. Could be the main unit, a panel, an extra battery, or even just a cable or accessory. What’s the one thing you’ve bought that you ended up using way more than everything else?

What you think on this power station/projector.

🙂Just having fun on stuff on items i think would be cool to see. Home /RV or fan life with a 300 blow up screen. Power station combo

Portability

Trails,Rivers and Deltas even rapidsEnjoy the summer weather and being outdoors to be with nature. Take your stations outside to cook some delicious food on the go no.matter where you are. No fumes to have to worry with and do it inside of your vehicle even. Propane and butane are great but you do have to have ventilation to use those. Get some yard work done without being attached to a wall. Come up with some great ideas and post here for others to learn. And another thing is medical supplies this gives you freedom to get out of the house not teathered to a wall and know ecoflow can keep your stuff powered. No matter the situation remember little moments count. These were some nature guests today

EcoFlow 45W Foldable Panel Real-World Output

The EcoFlow 45W foldable solar panel performed pretty close to expectations in full sun. With the panel carefully aimed and optimal sunlight conditions, I was able to see about 39W of output in real-world use. It’s a good reminder that rated wattage is usually a best-case number, and actual performance depends heavily on angle, conditions, and heat. Even so, it’s still solid output for a compact, portable setup.

Starlink Go Bag

Since I have a bunch of extra Delta 3 Series bags, and an extra Starlink lying around, I decided to make a dedicated Starlink Bag consisting of the following:1. Starlink Mini 2. Trail 3003. EF 45w Solar Panel4. 12v to xt60i cable5. EF USB-C Cable 240w w/ AC adapter (Not Pictured)6. Delta 3 Series BagThis setup can be used as part of your emergency kit, essential off-road/overlanding gear, or something to casually bring with you on a family road trip where signal is scarce. This bag is so awesome that there is still space to potentially add another Trail 200/300 or Rapid Pros.

Replacing my ACP UPS for delta 3 pro

I was tired of my ACP UPS only running my pc for about 4 minutes, so I am now using a Delta pro 3 4kw on my pc so it will run for about 3 hours minimum. Since we moved to our new home, we have lost power about 6 times in 2 years, and it would never fail I would be transferring large amounts of data to either another HDD or to a Blu-ray and the power would go out causing my to either have to restart the data transfer, or throw away the now coaster for Blu-ray disc and start over. With 3 hours of backup power just for my pc, I don't have to worry about that anymore.

Does the Upgrade Cycle Ever End?

It seems like a lot of EcoFlow setups follow the same path. You start with a power station, then realize you could use more solar. Once you add more solar, you start thinking about more battery capacity to store that energy. Then a larger system makes you want even more solar to take advantage of it. I’m curious if others have noticed the same thing. Did your setup grow in stages, or were you able to buy exactly what you needed the first time and stop there?

Delta series

One of the best things about EcoFlow is that it is portable, easy to use, and fast charging. You can use it at home, take it on a trip, keep it ready for emergencies, or connect it with solar panels for a cleaner energy option. Don’t wait until the power goes out to start preparing. Stay connected, keep your family comfortable, and have peace of mind knowing you have backup power when you need it.

Trail/Rapid Series Reminder: Battery Maintenance!

Here’s a quarterly reminder to consider a battery maintenance cycle for your Trail and Rapid units! If you’ve noticed a shorter run time or the battery seems to be draining faster than you’d expect, that may be a sign you need to run a full power cycle. 🏆 Contest Win! My EcoFlow 400W Solar Panel Has Arrived ☀️🔋

Today a large box showed up at my door… and it wasn’t something I ordered. 😎A while back I entered one of EcoFlow’s community contests, and I was fortunate enough to win a 400W portable solar panel. The panel arrived today, and I’m excited to add it to my growing backup power and solar setup. One thing I’ve learned from being part of the EcoFlow community is that participation matters. ✅ Ask questions ✅ Share your experiences ✅ Help other members ✅ Join community events and contests You never know what opportunities might come from simply getting involved. This 400W panel will give me another way to harvest energy and add flexibility to my system, especially during camping trips and extended outages. A big thank you to the EcoFlow team and everyone who helps make this community what it is. 🙏 Now for the fun part… How would you use an extra 400W solar panel if one showed up at your door tomorrow? ☀️🔋 I’ll post some testing results once I get it deployed and producing power. ⚡️☀️

Wave 3

My wave 3 will not power when using the 110v outlet, but it will turn on when using the battery connection port.. but it will not charge the battery or work when directly connected to any outlet. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Update: River Max Plus Battery Maintenance Cycle - Success!

One of the signs my first-generation River Max Plus (RMP) was due for a battery maintenance cycle was the “forever 1%.” The battery percentage on screen quickly decreased, and remained at 1% for at least 6 hours. It was outputting 25-100W during that time as well. This is an easy fix! I ran the RMP until it shut down, then recharged it uninterrupted until it reached 100% charge. Now it’s ready for the next adventure: storage for the next week and a half. 😂

Time for a battery maintenance cycle!

I’ve been working on a few projects around my house and my River Max Plus was out of sight for a while. It’s due for a battery maintenance cycle! I plugged in even more devices after I took the photo, but it’s still up to the task. For the maintenance cycle, I’ll drain the unit until it shuts down, then fully recharge to 100%. I’ll let it rest overnight so the cells can balance, and top up the charge in the morning if needed. I’ll also check the app later to see if my unit has firmware updates to apply. Once it’s drained, I’ll charge it back up using my Delta 3, which I recharge using solar. #OffGridWin!

Making accidental shutdowns less likely.

I’m wanting to use an Ecoflow Delta 3 as a UPS, but any touch of the AC port buttons could shut everything down in the worst possible way.Do you know of any way to make this less likely to happen? UPSs usually require you to hold the button down for a few seconds before switching it off/on.The only way I’ve found so far is a physical lock on the button; I’m planning a 3D print for this, but I didn’t want to have to go that route.Should be good to heve to enable/disable an option in the app where the buttons should be pressed for a few seconds before executing the action.
