While watching the evening news, I can't help but notice that there are multiple severe weather events in the US on almost any given night. Tornadoes, blizzards, flashflooding, severe temperatures and more. I live in an area that has mostly been insulated from all of that, but these things are becoming more common. I am so happy that I have a solar generator to help us to weather the storms. I know how to rough it, but I really don't want to go without power for more than a few hours, unless I am out camping. We've had our EcoFlow for about 8 months or so, and haven't needed it yet. Has anyone here used a solar generator and learned any important lessons that can be passed on to the rest of us?

One thing I didn’t expect when I got into EcoFlow was how much I would start paying attention to power usage. Before, I never really thought about how many watts something used or how long it could run on battery. Now I catch myself looking at appliances and thinking about what they draw, how often they run, and whether solar could keep up with them. It’s funny how a power station can change the way you look at electricity. ⚡

Our EcoFlow Off-Grid Adventure: From $600 Bills to Total Freedom! 🌞 Hi everyone! We’re Erika and Erica, 😆 two eclectic women in our late 50s who discovered we share love for music , country life and living in our cozy 880-square-foot two-story home in North Central Massachusetts. Our backyard opens right onto the state park with its amazing trails, rivers, and lake — and now our whole house runs on sunshine and EcoFlow magic! Three years ago we got fed up with those insane $600 monthly electric bills. We dreamed of real independence, so we started with individual EcoFlow systems and kept growing. Today we have 27+ EcoFlow systems divided into five groups, each with their own dedicated solar input. These separate micro-systems (spread across our five rooms plus the basement) give us incredible redundancy and flexibility. We’re even thinking of consolidating more into the basement for ultimate efficiency, but honestly it all works beautifully right now. We hunted every great deal we could find and invested just under $10,000 total. Best money we’ve ever spent! Mornings now start with solar-powered coffee, and evenings feel peaceful knowing we’re truly off-grid. We’re so thrilled we’ve been sharing our story with neighbors — and many are super receptive! My electric bill for May 2026 here in Southern California. Made -$52 in credits, totaling -$182.15 to use for the upcoming summer months. Not bad considering I was running my air conditioners constantly most of the days. Thanks in large part to my EcoFlow setup.

What a peace of mine having the Ecoflow Delta Pro 3. I live in an island that unfortunately power outrages are very common but with my setup i’m supper happy. It runs all the apartment with no issues.
