When I first got into EcoFlow, my main goal was having reliable backup power during outages. But somewhere along the way, testing solar panel output, comparing different panel sizes, and checking how much power different devices actually use turned into a hobby.There’s something satisfying about seeing what different setups can do, finding ways to get more out of your equipment, and learning how everything works together. What started as being prepared for outages has turned into something I really enjoy experimenting with.

Y'all I'm finally ordered! Can't wait to get my Delta pro 3! I'm going to be using this set up to power my 30amp camper of grid full time eventually. Going to expand the system asap and run 1600w of solar to it!! Should be great for long term battery power with solar recharge and fuel back up for the raining weeks! We love boon docking long term!

I use my eco flow with a 400W solar panel to off set my power in the summer and to run fans and cooling devices

Sunday, I finally got outside to start up my generator and charge my EcoFlow units.At first, I had my DELTA 3 Max set to 1000W charging input. Then I remembered my DELTA 2 Max was pretty low because I had used it for the Fourth of July.So I figured, why not charge both?I’ve had my Champion 2500 dual-fuel generator for almost two years, but I’ve barely used it. Most of the time, I use my ground solar panels around the house to charge my EcoFlow units. But I also needed to put some run time on the generator so I could get the first five hours in and change the oil.Since I was running on propane, I kept the charging input lower. The Champion 2500 is rated around 1665 running watts on propane, so I set both EcoFlows to 600W each.DELTA 2 Max: 600WDELTA 3 Max: 600WTotal: 1200WEco mode was off, and everything ran steady.I do like that with EcoFlow units, you can adjust the AC charging speed in the app which was easy to charge both batteries.That was my Sunday. I got run time on the generator, charged two EcoFlow batteries, and kept everything within a safe range.andI didn’t break anything😂

Woke up this morning 1200 miles from home for 3 weeks to find my DPU Disconnected from Wifi some time last night . Thinking my internet went down. Issue is when someone isnt home, there is no way of knowing hey the app is down or there is a issue . Seems for some reason my DPU dropped internet .

I’m curious… do you keep anything plugged into your EcoFlow all the time, or do you unplug everything until you need it? Maybe it’s your refrigerator, internet equipment, security cameras, lights, or something else. I’d be interested to hear how everyone uses their setup.

We always talk about the things we need to power during an outage, but what about the things you intentionally don’t run to save battery? For me, the dishwasher, clothes dryer, and central A/C can all wait. I’d rather save that power for the essentials. What’s one appliance or device you avoid using during an outage to help your EcoFlow last longer?

Last night’s storms brought high winds and widespread power outages across southeast Michigan. Thankfully my power stayed on, especially with temperatures near 95°F.Seeing the outage map reminded me why I’m glad to have my EcoFlow units ready. Hopefully everyone without power gets it back soon. Stay safe!

We all rely on our EcoFlow power stations, but what if you’re in a long outage and the battery starts getting low? What’s your backup charging plan? Solar panels, a gasoline or propane generator, a vehicle with a car inverter, another EcoFlow, or something completely different? I’m always interested in seeing the different ways people prepare for extended outages.

We are sitting here discussing the pro’s and con’s of this dual fuel generator and whether or not we should add it to our list of future purchases. We currently have a whole home natural gas powered generator and several EcoFlow units. We noticed the larger units we have do not appear to be compatible (D2, D3M+ and the D3U+), so that is a concern because we don’t plan to purchase a D3+ just to be able to have the generator. But we also wondered if the website just hasn’t been updated to reflect current compatibility. Please share your experiences, knowledge, and recommendations with us. Thanks so much!

Hi, I just got my 2 400 watt portable Solar Panels. I’m wondering ifanyone has mounted these things on a mounting rack. Not sure yetwhy I’m even considering it for portable folding panels but just thought I ask.Tom

I noticed a few posts about having problems with the case/stand for these panels. I mounted mine with brackets and added 1x4s to keep everything tight.

Obviously, I won't leave the station plugged into the wall acting as an EPS while I'm out. I want to pack it away safely, but I want to make sure I don't accidentally degrade the LiFePO4 cells by storing it at the wrong voltage. I've read conflicting advice online, some say to store it at 100% just in case of an emergency when you get back, while others say to drain it to exactly 50%. For those who have stored their units away in a closet for several weeks or months, what exact battery percentage do you leave it at? Also, do you just unplug it and walk away, or is there a specific sequence to physically force the unit into a "deep sleep" mode before a long vacation?

If the Internet Service Provider (ISP) goes down in a moment, even though my router stays powered on, there is no internet connection to the outside world, meaning the EcoFlow can't reach its cloud servers. If the internet drops out like this, does the EcoFlow mobile app automatically and seamlessly fall back to a direct, local Bluetooth connection so I can still monitor my wattage and control the AC outlets? Or do you actually have to manually disable the Wi-Fi settings on your phone to force the app to talk to the station via Bluetooth?

I sometimes worry about a family member accidentally plugging in a high-surge device, like a vacuum cleaner or a laser printer, into the spare plug while I am in the middle of a shift. I know the unit has an overload protection limit to prevent damage. If someone accidentally exceeds the inverter's maximum output limit and trips the system, what actually happens? Does the station emit a loud alarm, and more importantly, do you have to physically push a reset button on the machine to restore power to the outlets, or can you clear the overload error directly from the mobile app?
