Surviving the aftermath

Some of the damage from late April tornado in saline county gilliam missouri. My ecoflow river 3 plus and renogy 200watt 24v 16bb solar panel and a bunch of diy lights and battery banks is all I'm surviving on still. I'm praying to upgrade in any way, shape or form to increase my energy source. I trust God is on top of it for me. It's kept me out of darkness and cool in summer heat and charging everything I have built to power everything.

Low solar input

I have the Delta to max and one additional battery and have it connected to three renogy solar panels hundred watts each. The three panels are connected in parallel with a combiner box and using an XT 60 I cable. I’m having trouble getting more than 75 W of input under ideal sunlight conditions.I have been advised that the XD 60 I cable I’m using may not be configured properly and I should get the cable from EcoFlow. I have also watched videos of people modifying the cable by connecting the negative side to the middle pin by soldering it.Any suggestions on how to increase the wattage input from the solar panels would be appreciated.

Ready to be off grid!

Can't wait to get my Delta pro 3 and smart generator 4000!!! I'm going to be using this set up to power my 30amp camper of grid full time eventually. Going to expand the system asap and run 1600w of solar to it!! Should be great for long term battery power with solar recharge and fuel back up for the raining weeks! We love boon docking long term!

Hey again

Hey all, is anyone using the wave 2 or 3 in a 21ft travel camper this summer? If so how is it holding up to the 90°f?

EF Fairy Delivers Again!

The chair I won in the AMA discussion thread arrived! Looking forward to unboxing and taking it out for some camping because these seem to be a hot commodity and everyone speaks highly of them. I feel like I’m officially part of the club 🥰Thanks EcoFlow!

The waiting is killing me :)

starting my EF collection now just purchased the glacier 55 w/ battery now just have to wait for it to arrive… I have a feeling this is going to become a expensive addiction but can’t put a price on being prepared for anything.

Car Camping Setup

Car camping in my Subaru. Anyone have any suggestions or setup ideas they would like to share? Photo attached is what I am buying for my setup.

Camping Setup ⛺️

My camping setup varies depending on where and what I’m needing to power. When I pull my trailer, I’d usually bring my Pros just for the inverter power to run what I want inside my trailer. If I’m tent camping, capacity is usually what I’m after, so a couple of Deltas and Rivers paired with my dual alternator chargers usually does the trick. At times I bring my LifePo4 batteries just for more storage. What’s your setup usually?

Off-Grid Car Camping 6 Month Update

It has been over six months now since I added a Delta 3 Plus to my off-grid car camping setup, so I thought I would give an update. I used Gemini to help me create an equipment diagram for it.This configuration might seem redundant, and it is. However, it is a deliberate strategy to spread out the load in case I get a stretch of bad weather where I really need to conserve energy. Even with the inefficiency inherent in using one box to charge another, even DC to DC, on paper this gave me an extra day of runtime, and in practice, it actually gave me two.It uses the 12V DC cigarette port on the back of the Delta 3 Plus to connect to the barrel port on the AC50S to charge it. Max input is 120 watts and this setup supplies around 100 watts. The AC50S starts to recharge around 97% and only reaches that once an hour, peaking at 100 watts then dropping to 40 to 50 watts after a few minutes and trickle charging till it is back to full, which takes about 15 minutes or so.This allows me to also keep the connections as a set and forget it, no need to make sure that each box is getting enough sun, it really is about the redundancy. All together I can last 5 days before having to fire up the SUV to charge the system that way. I have had this setup running 24/7 for months at a time. It hasn't come close to being a concern, except for two times where the redundancy I built into the system came in clutch during bad weather.I still plan to move over to induction cooking, and at times I have used an air fryer, but two things have to happen first. I need to add another panel, which is simple, but I also need at least another 100Ah of capacity to make sure I have the reserves so that I am not going into the night with anything less than 50% of my storage capacity. Also on the amounts in the diagram, those are maximum, and the actual loads are lower or are offset during the day due to the solar surplus, as can be seen in the app screenshots.

EcoCredits: What is the best accessory or perk to redeem your forum rewards on?

I was looking at the rewards center and noticed you can redeem EcoCredits for various physical accessories, cables, carrying cases, or even discount coupons for future station upgrades. For those of you who have been active in the community for a while, what do you usually spend your EcoCredits on? Is it better to just hoard them for a massive discount on a larger unit down the road, or are there specific accessories in the store that are an absolute must-have and worth grabbing right away?

The EcoFlow Delivery Fairies Came Today!

Goodies on deck! 🤩Today my brand new Trail 300 Plus arrived along with the D2 waterproof fashion bag! The packaging of the Trail wasn’t very secure and the box was beat up as a result. For some reason the box the Trail came in was put in a plastic overnight shipping bag (the kind clothes and soft items are usually shipped in) instead of a box to protect it. I was a bit concerned it would be damaged because even the bottom piece that held it in place inside the box was cracked all the way through, but the ports seem to work and it’s charging fine so far. Excited about taking this little powerhouse when we go night fishing!

crack in my solar panel

Hi, I bought my Delta pro 3 last year but I am just getting to the solar panel set-up. They have been stored in my home and unopened but when I went to set them up I noticed a crack in one of the panels. It looks like a windshield crack. I am so bummed about this. Can I still use the panel with a crack? It is toward the bottom of the panel . If I shouldn't use it, can you buy just one panel? thank you

Combining DPU w/DPUX

Newbie here 🙋‍♀️ Just purchased our first ecoflow product, DPU w/5 batteries & already looking to purchase another but wondering if yall could help. We are looking to go off-grid and have a 4 ton geothermal unit. Would another DPU w/5 batteries be sufficient or should/could we pair what we have already purchased with a DPUX & SHP3?

First Trip

Off grid mode

As a super fan of Ecoflow products, I would like to request an enhancement to the app’s handling of system status and related notifications. At present, the app displays a persistent grid outage alert when operating on solar and battery power and disconnected from grid power, even though this operating mode is intentional. This behavior may lead to user confusion and misinterpretation of system status. To address this, consider the following improvements: •Introduction of an Off‑Grid Mode to clearly indicate intentional solar and battery operation •Suppression of grid outage notifications when the system is intentionally operating off-grid •Implementation of context-aware notifications that distinguish between actual outages and planned off-grid operation •Enhance visibility of system status, including grid connection state and primary energy source. I believe these enhancements would significantly improve clarity, reduce false alerts, and enhance the overall user experience. Thank you for your continued support.

Issues entering warranty info

Trying to register my device under warranty, the page won’t stay on long enough for me to enter it all. About 30 seconds in, it auto refreshes the page and wipes it clean. I’ve gotten the entire serial number in and it autopopulated the rest out, but refreshed on its own and back to black. I’ve tried different tablets and same issue with the webpage
