Weather Prep: Adjusting your charge limits before a tropical storm hits

I usually advocate for setting the "Maximum Charge Level" in the EcoFlow app to 85% or 90% for daily EPS use to preserve battery lifespan and reduce voltage stress on the cells.

However, situational awareness is key. Since we are right in the middle of hurricane season, whenever the local weather radar shows a major tropical storm approaching, the very first thing I do is open the app and push that slider back up to a full 100%.

Don't sacrifice your emergency runtime for long-term battery health when a multi-day blackout is highly likely. Get every single watt-hour you can, and once the storm passes and the grid stabilizes, you can simply slide it back down to your daily maintenance level.
