issues withy my off grid set up advice?

I am running the delta 3 ultra plus that I charge with solar to run my RV off grid. For heavier loads like over night A/C I have the 3000 watt smart generator. The issue I have is that every time the smart generator is supposed to turn on due to the ultra plus running low, it fails to start if the ultra plus is under load.

To try and compensate for that, I tried to set it up so that the generator would constantly feed 800 watts into the ultra plus by limiting the power input on the ultra plus. I found out that doesn't work and it bypasses the limit to give it full power into the port all at once which I don't want either.

How do I get this set up so I don't have to worry about getting out of my camper at 3am in the woods to go fiddle with my devices to get them working properly every night I am there?
