Firmware updates: What happens if your Wi-Fi drops midway through an OTA update?

The EcoFlow app occasionally prompts me to install new firmware updates. My absolute biggest fear is tapping "Update" and having my router lose internet connection when the progress bar is at 50%. With standard computer motherboards, losing power or data during a BIOS update can permanently "brick" the device.

Does the units have a safe fallback system or dual-bank memory to protect itself if an Over-The-Air (OTA) update is interrupted? If the Wi-Fi suddenly drops mid-update, does the station just revert to the old firmware safely, or do you have to go through a complicated Bluetooth recovery process to save it?
