How do you protect the unit from tiny insects?

Because the EcoFlow sits near the floor and the internal inverter produces a mild heat even on standby, I am a bit paranoid about small bugs crawling into the side cooling vents and shorting out the motherboard.

For those of you who live in warm climates or keep your stations in garages/workshops, do you take any special precautions against insects? Are there any safe, non-corrosive deterrents you can place near the base of the unit without blocking the airflow or damaging the exterior plastics?
