Can I use a third-party DC power brick into the XT60 port?

I noticed the yellow XT60 port on the back (which is meant for solar panels or car charging) accepts DC power and generally charges the unit with much less heat and fan noise. Since I don't own solar panels, I am wondering about alternative indoor charging methods.

Is it safe to buy a high-quality AC-to-DC power supply (like a 20V/5A brick) and wire it to an XT60 adapter to plug directly into the back of the EcoFlow? Will the station's MPPT controller safely treat it like a perfectly stable 100W solar panel and charge the unit in absolute silence without kicking on the loud inverter fans?
