Maintenance Reminder: The proper way to prep your LiFePO4 cells for storage.

A quick maintenance reminder for anyone planning to travel or store their backup power station for a long period of time.

It can be tempting to just leave the unit plugged into the wall at 100% while you are away, or worse, toss it in a closet completely dead at 0%. Both of these extremes put unnecessary chemical stress on the LiFePO4 cells. If you know you won't use the unit for several weeks or months, the best practice is to manually discharge the battery to 60%-50%, turn off all the ports, completely power down the unit, and store it in a cool room.

This perfectly balances the internal voltage and ensures zero degradation while you are away. Protect your investment.
