Delta Pro Smart Generator Adapter

I am using a Delta Pro Smart generator Adapter in order to use my Delta 2 Max extra battery if something goes wrong with my Delta 2 max. Its only a back up.

I have tested this and it works, I covered the test in another post.

My question is, does anyone know a reason why I can't just leave the adapter connected to the Delta Max 3 Plus when not in use? I doubt it's a shock hazard and I assume there will be no battery drain.

I would rather leave it connected so it does not get misplaced if possible.
