My PowerKits hack

For my vintage Airstream renovation I am planning to use a D3M+ with twin DP3 EBs to power it through a PowerKits Smart Distribution Panel (SDP) used as a dumb distribution panel. So no PK Hub, the SDP circuit breakers work manually, but fuses 1-6 are controlled by relays by the hub so I can only use fuses 7-12. In this picture I am building up the shore power input feeding a surge protector which is feeding an automatic transfer switch which while choose between shore power and my power station. On the other side of the Airstream I will have a similar setup except it will have a D3+ with a DP3 EB accepting power from shore power or the D3M+ or the D3+ (I will need to find an appropriate 3 way source selector) to feed a second SDP.I just love these WAGO connectors and am keeping the door open to add a PowerKits Hub, PowerDock, a single PK battery and these DP3 EBs in the future so this can all be automated. I really with PowerKits wasn't so blasted expensive. In time I will get over the price and bite the bullet.

Construction/Jobsite Power

Looking to see if anyone has a jobsite setup that does construction. Normally used to seeing/using a temporary power pole or gas generator with limited plugs and uses. Just want to understand what is needed to power which device. Thanks

New here

Hi there. Working on doing some community outreach. Trying to see the best option in using inflatable bounce houses without a noisy generator.

Power Hub 5kw

Does anyone have a problem with the charging mode on the 5kw power hub? This unit shuts down solar batterie charging and smart generator randomly. Sometimes it freezes and will not start charging unless you turn off solar then turn back on. This is a daily event. EcoFlow tells me it’s in the software but there is no fix yet. Though maybe someone knows a solution. Mike

Charge van starter battery?

I have a Sprinter that came with an EcoFlow power kit. I have (on multiple occasions) gone to INPUT and clicked the sliders icon and was able to use the EcoFlow system to charge my van's starter battery. That option was gone for a while, I did a firmware update, and it was back. Now it's gone again. Ideas?

2kwh Battery warranty

EcoFlow support has definitely been getting better, and I really appreciate that they replaced two of my batteries that failed. That said, I was recently told the warranty only runs 5 years from the original purchase date. So does that mean, under the replacement policy, the battery is really only covered for 5 years no matter what? For the price, I’d expect these batteries to hold up a lot better than the failure rate I’ve seen so far. I would say I had less than 200 hours on them before failing.

Smart Home Panel 2!!! I have the power (soon)!!

Time to put together a SHP2 for my (2) Delta Pro 3’s. Hurricanes are coming, and this Floridian wants to be prepared.

SHP2 - instant power fail over!!

Had a storm, saw the lights flicker once, and got an alert that my SHP2 and Triple Delta Pro 3’s kicked on and purred. I love this stuff!

Power Kit powers my entire RV life

Perhaps my favorite piece of EcoFlow Kit...the Power Kit! I have two 5 kwh batteries seated in a custom built jumpseat in my RV, with the 3rd 5 kwh battery cradled between the driver and passenger seat.I started with the Gen 1 Power Kit, which comes with 3600w inverter and a smart distribution panel and smart console/monitor. But I recently upgraded to Gen 2, which has a beefier 5kva of power and a far superior distribution panel that supports both 30 and 50a. The Power Insight monitor is much sleeker too!Loving how the Power Kit enables me to go full-time RVing if I so choose, including using power hungry appliances like the air conditioning and space heaters. Truly opened up new possibilities.
